On Saturday, June 14th, we welcomed friends, neighbors, and plant lovers of all kinds to our 4th Annual Free Community Plant Swap at the Landworks Studio office in Salem—and what a day it was! Even though the day started a bit rainy, the event brought together a joyful mix of repeat plant swappers and curious first-timers for a day of trading and connection.

The tables overflowed with leafy abundance—from our infamous red twig dogwoods to vibrant indoor plants, seedlings, rooted cuttings, and garden-ready perennials. Guests went above and beyond, labeling their contributions with helpful care tips and even crafting custom cards that shared the plant’s backstory.

Special thanks to Jesse Joseph, whose live music set the tone with warmth and good vibes throughout the day.
