Taylor Harrell

Taylor Harrell first came to Landworks in December 2019 as a winter extern. She now joins remotely this summer from her home town in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.. She recently graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor’s in Architecture and plans to return next year to pursue her Master’s in Landscape Architecture. During her time in school, Taylor developed an interest in urban development within rural suburban towns. She is specifically interested in how the preservation of historic green-spaces and strategic landscape development play a positive role in the future of suburban growth within rural towns, such as the one she grew up in. She hopes to pursue this as a thesis topic next year in school. Outside the office, her interests include rock climbing, playing volleyball, gardening with her family, and vegan food blogging.
