Welcome To The Design Quad
Our new studio is located within the North River Canal District in downtown Salem, MA and just steps away from the commuter rail station. This bright and flexible space is a former mid-century car dealership that has been reinvented to become the new home of our design studio, innovation workshop and gallery space. The second building (or the yellow submarine as we like to call it) is emerging as an ‘artists first’ space that we hope will be utilized for community gathering and creative placemaking opportunities. The large expanse of asphalt (formerly the parking lot) is meant to provide space for the production of mock ups, material testing, event space, public engagement and in recent months has been used as an inventive space for our team to gather.
About the Renovation
The transformation of a mid-century auto dealership into our new design studio and gallery has re-energized a vintage building in downtown Salem.

We are always interested in connecting with energetic and ambitious individuals who are interested in working at our firm. Our work is generated from a dialogue between analogue systems of making: sketch, constructed multi-point perspectives, physical modeling, etc. and the highly ethereal realm of Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion, AutoCAD, etc. Applicants must be ready to discuss their particular skill sets in the context of how those skills may contribute to this dialogue, the larger goals of the studio and to the existing fabric of the studio team.
