The Newton Hotel Renovation project transformed an existing mundane hotel into a hip boutique destination geared toward youthful travelers seeking an alternative hotel experience in the Boston area. On a tight budget, the project transformed the existing grounds and pool/restaurant terrace through a series of strategic edits of existing landscape elements and the careful introduction of more contemporary materials. At the main entrance area, the landscape strategy was to create a polished entry sequence, which accommodates visitor drop-off as well as bus parking. The existing exterior pool deck was remodeled and updated into an urban Miami Beach oasis.
