Planting beds and pathways atop underground parking provide a sculptural landscape interface between a new large housing block and an adjacent new neighborhood park. An Expansive field of paving stones turn upward in asymmetrical patterns to create a dynamic, alternating series of planting beds and pathways. Technically providing ample soil depth for planting over the top of parking under the ground, these linear planters also define a sense of threshold and address for the new building. They are situated so as to make strategic connections between the larger Public Park and critical ground floor program of the new residential building.
