Landworks Studio » Madawaska Land Port of Entry

As Landscape Architect for the new state of the art Land Port of Entry, funded by the General Services Administration as part of the Design Excellence Program, Landworks Studio has been evolving innovative uses of stone walls, folded topography, ecologically innovative storm water collection systems and snow storage basins to define an energetic entry experience for people entering the country. Working collaboratively with the Boston based firm of Office dA and Performa Inc of Wisconsin, along with a complex list of project consultants, we have been able to achieve a fully synthesize project whole, resulting in a rich and cohesive sense of place for this new Port Facility.
